My name is Marina, and you could say that fashion has always been a part of my story. I grew up watching my grandmother sew in her small sewing room, surrounded by fabrics, patterns, and perfect stitches. She was a dressmaker, and without me even realizing it, she taught me that quality is felt in the touch, that a good design never goes out of style, and that elegance lies in the details.

Years later, I moved to Madrid to study and worked in several fashion boutiques. There I understood something my grandmother always said: people can buy many things, but what they truly value is what is well-made, what lasts, what has soul.

In the midst of all this was Pipo. We adopted him 12 years ago when he was wandering the streets looking for a home. He has been my life partner, the origin of it all. But a year ago, the family grew: Oli arrived. If Pipo is the soul and the wisdom, Oli is the new energy, the undisputed star you'll see in all our photoshoots, giving a face and character to each collection.

Driven by my desire to dress Oli to my liking and guided by my grandmother's wisdom, Golden Cooper was born—a brand for those who believe style isn't a matter of whim, but of principle. For those who know their dogs aren't just pets, but part of the family.

But there's one symbol that encapsulates our essence better than any other. An object that connects us directly to my grandmother's sewing room: the mannequin. I love the idea that it holds everything: the past, the present, and the future we create. The mannequin is there, it bears the weight, it doesn't complain, and that reminds me of Grandma.

I've realized that a dog's love —and a grandmother's— is exactly like that. They don't need to explain themselves or seek the spotlight; it's a blend of silent presence and unconditional loyalty. They sustain our days, our secrets, and our silences.

And although Grandma passed away in 2024, Golden Cooper is built on the legacy of her values. And this is a tribute to her.
